At our foundation – our three branches are community banks, which are businesses. Just like any business we have expenses & staff to pay. Our profit with purpose means when we are profitable, we give back to the community up to 80% of those profits into our wonderful Sunshine Coast region.

In fact, over the last 21 years Sunshine Coast communities have now received over $4m in our support from profits generated across our branches simply by more & more customers choosing to bank with us.

Applications for funding are welcome & some levels of funding will only be open for limited times. We want to know what you are doing for the community, so that together we can help you to achieve your local impacts. To see some of the previous ways we have helped – please visit our website.

The first steps to applying is for you to know that:

We have three levels of funding – donations, sponsorships & grants. All applications are processed via the “Smarty Grants” platform. For each round of funding across the three levels there will be specific application criteria.

Regardless of application type or amount of funding, preference is given to organisations that already bank with us – that is to say, the applying organisation has current accounts, products or both domiciled at either Cooroy, Marcoola or Tewantin Noosa branches.

If not, your application if approved may require a condition that this is met in order for successful funding.

Donations

Donations are valued at $1,000 or less including GST or not. In all donation cases discussion with your local Branch Manager will have occurred first to determine support. If successful funding of your application will be directly approved by the Branch Manager. Funding for donations is usually open all year round or until budgets have been met.

Sponsorships

Significant funds that really make a difference.

Sponsorship requires commitment - for both of us. Usually funding amounts are between $1K to $5K. For us to support you we want to work with you to show us how you can support your Community Bank in return for funding.

Perhaps via signage, social media or even an invitation to your event. Ideally, we would like to see more customers banking with us. The more customers who choose us as their bank goes towards funding projects that benefit many people and leaves a legacy in the community.

Grants

These are the substantial projects that really make a difference.

At this level of shared commitments, we really can truly make a difference & we like to call these community collaborations our “Hero Projects”. We are interested in how we can partner with you to leave a substantial legacy in the community.

Obviously, we can't fund all Hero Projects presented to us. To learn more about your upcoming projects, still submit an application for us to assess & we will be in touch.
